The plug-in reads the “Shadow” GPS metadata created by GPS Support to tell you the distance any given image was taken from your starting point. GPS Proximity Search – Another GPS plug-in from Jeffrey Friedl, integrating with his GPS Support plug-in to allow you to find images in your catalog taken within a certain distance of a defined point on Earth. GPS Support – Jeffrey Friedl – Donationware Free limited version, full version with donation. It also facilitates the use of Jeffrey’s other GPS plug-in. This information is stored ina “Shadow” GPS metadata entry that can then be used to automatically tag images on export. It will then tag your photos with the proper GPS coordinates based on the time metadata from your camera and the timestamp on the GPS logfile. GPS Support – This plug-in will parse information from your GPS unit’s log file with images in your Lightroom catalog.

If you are into Geo-tagging your images, the great Lightroom plug-in developer Jeffrey Friedl has two great plug-in to aid you in your efforts. A limited, 10 image trail version is available. An awesome weapon in your image arsenal, PTLens can be had for a mere $25 USD. Plus, when you purchase it you get a stand-alone version, a Photoshp plug-in and the Lightroom external editor. If you shoot with a wide angle lens, or a low grade lens that suffers from some basic image quality issues this is a must have application. PTLens corrects lens pincushion/barrel distortion, vignetting, chromatic aberration, and perspective issues. PTLens – A great tool to fix lens distortions on export from Lightroom.

LR/Enfuse – A fun program if you are into HDR photography. LR2/Mogrify – Timothy Armes – Donationware LR2/Mogrify is available with a free trial, full version unlocked with a donation to the project. LR2/Mogrify lets you and watermarks, enhance your images with frames and even layer effect images over your image (allowing simulated grain of glass effects). If you do not have this installed into Lightroom you are truly missing out. LR2/Mogrify – This has to be the great grand-daddy of all Lightroom plug-ins. These plug-ins extend the image processing capabilities of Lightroom, endowing you with the ability to do more with your images than Lightroom allows out of the box. So without further ado, lets start looking at some of this fine software. Many of these will be familiar names, but hopefully you will find something new that will improve you Lightroom experience.

If you still are not seeing the software then just run the installer again and make sure that you have selected Lightroom from the list of compatible host programs.Photography can be an expensive endeavor, regardless of it you are a professional or an enthusiast. Once you follow these instructions and restart Lightroom, you should see our software under the Photo > Edit in menu. If this option has a check mark in it then you need to remove the check mark, close your preferences window on your Mac or click OK in Windows, and then restart Lightroom. We are located under the Photo > Edit In menu item. This is not where our plug-ins are located within Lightroom. Most people tend to look in the Library > Plug-in Extras menu item. When installing into Adobe Lightroom you may notice that you cannot find your plug-in.
